Six-eight poetry is a Vietnamese poetic form that consists of alternating lines of six and eight syllables. It renews the rhymes at the end of every eight-syllable line and rhymes on the sixth syllable of both lines.
Your love is my sunlight,
~*~
I wish there were a bridge,
That connects the hearts between you and me
Love is like a rose,
Pretty to look, too thorny to hold

Bugs can’t live without flowers.
Fish can’t live without water around.
And in my life, I found
That I can’t live without your love
~*~
Love is a strange feeling.
Every moment, just thinking of you

Take my hand, my baby,
Hand in hand, let’s go and see the world
